Judah approaches Joseph to ask for the release of
Binyamin, offering himself as a slave to the Egyptian
leader instead of his brother. After witnessing his
brothers' loyalty to one another, Joseph reveals his
identity by saying, "I am Joseph. The brothers with
shame and remorse, but Joseph comforts them. "It
was not you who sent me here," he tells them, "but
Elohim. Everything was ordained from heaven to save
us, and the whole region, from famine.
