Description

The People of Israel are each commanded to contribute half a shekel of silver to the sanctuary. There are Instructions for building the Kior, a large water vessel and anointing oil and incense. The "wise at heart" craftsmen Betzalel and Ahaliav is in charge of the construction of the Shrine; Elohim reminds them to observe Shabbat.
When Moshe does not return at the expected time from Mount Sinai, people make a Golden Calf and worship him. Elohim sets out to destroy the wandering nation of Israel, but Moshe intercedes for them. Moshe descends from the mountain carrying the Tablets of the Testimony engraved with the Ten Words; watching the people dance around his idol, he breaks the Tablets, destroys the Golden Calf, and orders the leaders of the revolt against Elohim to be killed. Then he turns to Elohim and says, If not, please wipe me out of the book you have written.
