Brian Hay was born and educated in Wythenshawe and grew up with an average mixed of O-Levels and CSEs. After leaving college he entered the world of logistics, which has a high prevalence of activity in and around the local region and fell in love with the industry.
At the age of 26, armed with a £15,000.00 loan from his father-in-law, he realised his ambitions by co-founding Cardinal Global Logistics., which is head-quartered in Sharston, Wythenshawe.
The business now generates annual revenues of £450 million, operates from 12 offices in the UK and a further 20 international offices across Asia, Africa and Europe and Australasia.
