Description

Leadership Day is the ACP's annual two-day advocacy event in Washington, DC that enables members from across the country to bring our key issues of concern to U.S. lawmakers. This is a great opportunity for the College and members to bring our policy priorities to Congress and try to influence the legislative process on behalf of internal medicine and our patients. In this episode, we hear from Robert Doherty, who is Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs and Public Policy for the American College of Physicians (ACP) with 40 years of health policy experience. He gives terrific advice on what Leadership Day is and advice for how to best navigate it and meet with legislators and their staff.
