Dr. Steven Morrissey, OMD: Dr. Steven Morrissey is the co-founder and formulator behind Plantiva with more than 30 years of clinical experience in herbal medicine, homeopathy and nutrition. He holds a doctorate in Oriental Medicine and has made more than 30 trips overseas conducting work related to botanical medicine, research, safety, efficacy, quality and manufacturing. Steven has developed more than 40 professional and consumer health products and has been involved in randomized, blinded and placebo-controlled clinical research involving botanical health products. He has also taught Traditional Chinese Medicine and served as chair of an Oriental Medicine program.
Jenny Morrissey, LAc: Jenny Morrissey is a licensed acupuncturist with more than 25 years of clinical experience and co-founder of Plantiva. She helped establish an Oriental Medicine program and served as clinical faculty and interim department chair. Together with Steven, Jenny has spent decades combining clinical experience, research, botanical healthcare and Traditional Chinese Medicine to develop targeted health formulas and bring their practitioner-led approach to a broader audience.
