An article in the Los Angeles Times about a recent fossil find began:
"If it walks like a duck and swims like a duck, it might be a dinosaur."
The writer was referring to a fossil called Halszkaraptor escuilliei, which the paleontologists think shows traits of both therapod and aquatic bird – a sort of dinogoose.
