King: The Post-Resurrection Appearances of Jesus

During the 40 days following His resurrection, Jesus appeared many times in many places to individuals and groups of people. Only a few of the appearances are recorded in the 4 gospels. The empty tomb, combined with His numerous post-resurrection appearances and the impact these had on His followers, constitute the evidence proving that Jesus defeated death, as He said He would.
