Motherhood is the most fundamental institution of human existence – everyone has a mother! Yet today, it is undervalued, underappreciated, and culturally under assault. After all, why would anyone sign up for a role this exhausting with such an elusive sense of accomplishment? But scripture provides a brighter picture. This Mother’s Day at Oak Pointe, we’ll take a closer look at the sacrifice of motherhood and discover within it a profound gift, a tremendous miracle, extraordinary beauty, and the potential for great joy.
