So many of us make excuses for other people's behavior on the off-chance that there might also be some good behavior if we wait around.
Oftentimes, we learn to accept this behavior from family and from other experiences while growing up, but this doesn't mean we have to allow this to continue as adults. We can choose not to accept other's actions and what's more empowering is we don't have to let their actions mean anything about us. #stillpracticing
What matters is you think that you matter. When you genuinely hold this belief in your heart, you won't make time or space for people who can't give you what you need.
