Allow Yourself To Feel The Burn
- It definitely stings
- Allow yourself to feel every and embrace the feeling
- These emotions don't last forever (Thankfully) / Its not the end of the world
- There is risk in putting yourself out there, but there's also a beauty in humanity
- Insecurities do arise like well what about me didn't "make it" cause I was enamored
- Take heed when action change because they speak louder than the words (ex: does he call when he says he will or FT)
- Is there urgency? / Is the excitement still there? / If he thinks about you he'll show it!
Self Reflection
- Know your self worth
- I got a taste of my own medicine
- You think of should I rebel and cover the void with another person or thing
- Should I run and download another app and race to it
- At this point I'm well aware these apps are all about personal validation and ego
- I don't want to rely on that
- Being single is enough
- Karma is real
Speak Truth
- Now we don't just blindly run into these situations
- Legit was minding my business and not trying to entertain anyone, but he was persistent so I obliged
- There are the Lawrences of the world / "The Nice Guy" with fuck boy tendencies
- Definitely led me on, but I still held back emotionally
- I still love to revel in a crush and person who has mystery. The mystic of a person is attractive to me
- I still remain open because it would be unfair to my own lived experience
Better Is On The Horizon
- The blessing is I'll never have to say shoulda, woulda, coulda
- I put myself out there openly
- Clearly, the other person offered something I wasn't providing
- Little to no access to me
- There has to be an emotions
- I don't mind the hurt and I welcome it because its living proof that I'm alive
- Once I was scared that I lost touch with emotion
