In 2022, we launched the first art27 open call for artistic commissions. The Arts for Social Inclusion project awarded successful applicants funding for the creation of new collaborative artworks. The works bring artists of different mediums together to create pieces that tell new stories about migration, displacement, and the lived experience of upheaval.
In this episode we spoke to Adam Togo, Ana Guerrero, Liliya Golovanova. In recent years, they have been working on Adam's Book. The book is an intimate portrait of a single artist's experience through life, including memories of his home in Sudan, the journey from violence, and a celebration of the moments along the way.
