So when you are baptized and are filled with the Holy Spirit,
Jesus,
out of his all-powerful sovereignty over all things
imparts his spirit into you
and you are given new DNA.
Jesus makes some people
Apostles,
Prophets,
Evangelists,
Pastors,
and Teachers.
These types of people
are the gift,
and their role in the body
is to perform functions.
And the purpose of these functions
is to make the whole body stronger
and help the body mature
so that we can all attain the full stature
of the mature Jesus.
