In poetry, the symbol, metaphor, of the two paths is a popular one because I think the two paths are all about decision, which is one of the most important principles we have in our life. Why? Because, decision changes everything in our lives. We make decisions everyday and even not making a decision is making a decision. These three poems of "Days of Darkness," "Vanlife Comes," and "You must go and Know" are all about the principle of decision. The Last poem "You must go and Know" is about myself when I started to write poetry. Why did I choose poetry? Well, it's because I couldn't manage to write a story. I'm still working on it because I think story is how we learn in this life, just look at all the movies and books out there in our world. Yes, we learn from story, but what I learned from poetry is that it's the story of the moment.
