Join host Bo Matthews as he talks about the "Shop With A Cop" program with Officers Jennifer and Mike Werges from the Eureka Police Department and Chuck Maher, President of the Eureka Chamber of Commerce.
The Eureka Police Department wants to help make the holiday season a little brighter for children and their families this year. The biggest challenge isn't finding the need, it's in raising the money! Some of these kids' stories will break your heart. Many of the kids just want to get something for their siblings or parents but we encourage them to at least choose something for themselves. Once the shopping is done, the kids are treated to lunch and taken home via "police car taxi."
