On today's show I am chatting with Colleen Smith. Colleen shares her journey of meeting a mom on the streets of Baltimore with her 5 year old son Peter.
How she counseled her through addiction, and the event that led to Colleen ultimately becoming Peters Mom. Colleen shares with us how the shame of her own abandonment as a child led to deep feelings of guilt as a mother.
How Christ has reminded her that she was chosen for Peter and the beautiful way her pain of her past and the pain of his present are so intricately and perfectly woven together. How they live an abundant life of service to others being the hands and feet of Jesus.
