The storms of life happen to all of us, some big, some small but in any case a storm is a storm. What rocks my boat, may not rock yours. When we are shaken by the storms of life we tend to get anxious. In Luke 8 the disciples were shaken by a literal storm while Jesus rested. They woke him asking, "don't you care?" we are going to drown. I love his response.... "where is your faith?"
Where is your faith? If your memory is anything like mine, I have a hard time remembering what I ate for lunch much less scripture. But this verse, I can remember..."Where is your faith?"
In my anxious thoughts, in my tendency to worry when I remember where my faith is then I can rest knowing Jesus is in control.
Luke 8:25 "where is your faith?" he asked his disciples.
