Prayer Tuesday! Episode 32 of Masquerade of Motherhood Anyone else feeling a little teary eyed anticipating the end of school? This year we have not one but TWO graduates, I sure didn't think that one through.
We are sending one off to college, though he is #5 it isn't any easier. And one into the real world of adulthood, job, bills, benefits and all.

My prayer today is from Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

For context this is a commandment just as the Israelites, led by Joshua, are about to cross the Jordan River.  They are launching into unfamiliar territory just like our kids are doing.  In verse 9, this is the third time God says to Joshua, BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Above all else as you prepare to enter a new territory, do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!
This is a great reminder for Mommas who are having to let go, and for our kids to know that God is with them as they cross on to the next phase of life.
