Yesterday I spent most of the day talking with other moms about letting go. From a sweet friend dropping her one year old off to her first day of preschool to friends who were bringing there daughters to college hours away from home.
Ironically, the calls came amongst my own tear filled eyes as I processed the changes charging at me over the next two weeks. Another one leaving for college and our youngest entering his last year of elementary school at a new school. Both lending themselves to new seasons in their lives and in my life.
Seasons of change…
The question that came up from all of them, is “How?” How do I do this? How do I say goodbye, how do I leave them, how do I deal with the quiet in my house?
On today's episode I attempt to answer these questions to the best of my ability.
