I felt a crippling loneliness, not that I wasn’t surrounded by a lot of people physically, I was. Between my home, my volunteering, my friendships, my children's activities, there really weren’t very many times I was physically alone. Yet, I felt alone. I didn’t have a single person in my life that could understand the magnitude of my pain, worry and helplessness.
I knew the presence of God was equally evident. As an escape and a desperate plea to find comfort, I began to pray asking God to send me other mothers whom I could identify with.
