For most people, one of the hardest things to adjust to once adopting an intuitive eating lifestyle is weight gain. It's not easy to make sense of this completely normal change to your body after having restrictive eating patterns for so long.
Societally it's not "acceptable" to gain weight, and this can lead to feelings of shame, guilt, anger and may even push you to readopt habits that place more harm on your body than good. While you know weight gain is a possibility with intuitive eating, how can you deal with it?
