Silvana and Tegan watch Season 5, Episode 20, "Sentinel", which is about the Latonans and how they have a regressive technological culture. Silvana talks about some of the other types of technology that have been 'forgotten' in history. While Tegan finds this episode boring, Silvana finds some redemption. That does not get the writers off the hook for the massive plot hole they left in though.
