Episode 6 first takes a moment to consider the impact of 9/11 on our community, 20 years later. It is then a trip down memory lane with former PBC Commissioner, Steven Abrams. Abrams, who preceded me on the Board of County Commissioners ascended to that position (after serving as mayor of the City of Boca Raton) as an appointee of then-Governor Charlie Crist. Our conversation addresses the changes that have occured in Palm Beach County since the days, also 20 years ago, when he faced the cameras to explain how Boca Raton had become the victim of an Anthrax laden correspondence. Lots of light banter as we touch on Abrams' service as City Mayor, County Mayor and now Executive Director of Tri-Rail (and no, Virginia, there is no third rail on Tri-Rail).
