- Sometimes the prayer is with the person and sometimes it is with the person and their family.
- This sacrament is not to be administered when a person dies.
- All sacraments are for the living.
- It is true it can assist a person getting ready to be received by God.
- Grace which is received in all sacraments is a share in divine or God's life.
- Life is enriched by the grace of God.
- Christ healed everyone with every illness which included physical and mental health.
- God intends to restore.
- God is a loving God.
- All can benefit from the sacrament of the sick.
