Cain Brunton is Australian, State and Caged Muay Thai Champion and Founder of MMPowerment, a Youth Organization based in the Geelong Community, that encourages young people to build confidence and strength through Boxing, whilst providing clinical core values in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
After starting his career as a Muay Thai specialist at the age of 15 Cain began competing professionally at 18.
Faced with multiple physical and emotional challenges growing up, Cain focused on Muay Thai and keeping fit, to prepare for life's challenges. Muay Thai provided a release of energy and increased feelings of self-worth, self-identity and self-esteem.
Following short careers in plumbing, truck driving and operating machines, Cain studied to become a Youth Worker. Whilst working in Residential Care, Cain qualified with a certificate IV in Youth Work, Cert IV in Child, Family and Youth Intervention, Diploma of Community Services and is trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Combining life experience, mentoring and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cain has brought to life his dream of supporting young people who have unwanted thoughts and feelings by helping them better understand themselves to achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.
