Even though Laura usually recommends living an 80/20 life - meaning that 80% of the time, you eat super-nourishing foods, and 20% of the time, you can indulge - there are some people that are just better off without sugar, period. Laura has experimented both ways and definitely feels better when she goes completely without.
Not only is living without sugar healthier physically (obviously!), but it's so much healthier mentally too. When we don't give ourselves the choice every time (Should I eat the cookies? Should I not eat the cookies?), we are much more free to focus on the rest of life. Instead of deprivation, there is so much freedom.
