RECAP TIME:
Our heroes had found and explored the first of two ancient Chambers with the pirate crew of the Oddmium Trist. Yelanriae, the first tomb, was an undead place, submerged under the bedrock of the Broken Sea, where with Killid's blood, they successfully forged the bloody key and escaped.
But on their journey to the island that would hopefully lead to the second location, the Seal Sanctum, the crew faced a terrible storm, loosing Sorrel to the waves. As they arrived at the island, the captain called a day of rest, recuperation and remembrance.
It was on that day that Sentinel was called by their patron, the Enigmora. They were in the depths of admonishing themselves after attuning and quickly severing themselves from the cursed Arbitel of the Burrowed Worlds. But their patron was not happy with their distancing themselves… and as an awkward punishment, grounded Sentinel in their domain, the Subtle House, for one day.
Our heroes took this as an opportunity to explore an area of the Subtle House called the Toiaska wing that was shrouded in the corrosive mist of the forgotten that ate away much of the Enigmora's domain.
After discovering the origin of the forgotten was somehow tied to their nemesis Xethir, our heroes defeated the core of the mist and liberated the Toiaska wing. They also found evidence of the Enigmora's origin, with Toiaska wielding "whispering death" before falling to "the deepest place of all".
