"When I got pregnant with my son, but he's 20 now so obviously it was a slightly different landscape, but I was in the studio with a major label and I had been, you know, for kind of about a year. Then was in the studio about four or five months and we're working on stuff. I had my A&R person, whatever. And literally I got pregnant, as soon as I told that it news, it was like incommunicado, literally like chocolate hot rock. Yeah. Completely, completely serious. Actually upsets me more than anything was my realisation that, you know, I was having this baby, but I knew that it would come to the complete detriment of my career. I knew that those two couldn't exist in a parallel, you know, in one world, it was very much, it was one or the other.
