Why is it that as moms we feel like everything is our responsibility, like the weight of the world is on our shoulders? Why is it so hard for us to ask for help when we feel overwhelmed?

There seems to be this stigma that moms need to do everything. And if we don't, or we ask for help, then we are weak. We are less of a mom. And if we try to take even just a small moment for ourselves, then we don't love our kids as much as we should. That simply isn't true. In fact, in order for us to be the best mom that we can be, it's imperative that we find the time do things that bring us joy.

In today's episode, I speak with Melissa Clampitt, a mom and host of The Reawakened Mom Podcast. She is passionate about supporting women and believes that as moms, we need to take the journey home to ourselves and start loving ourselves body, mind and spirit.

Melissa will share with us how she has found joy in her motherhood journey by not being afraid to ask for help and by being intentional with the time she spends with her family. She will also tell us how she deals with the guilt when it comes to comparing herself to other moms.
