In today’s episode spend some time considering Cain from Genesis 4 and the lessons you could learn. Other verses included in the study are Hebrews 11:4; 1 John 3:1-12; Jude 1:5-16
In Jude 1:11, “the way of Cain” is referred to as the path a group of false teachers were following. Those who followed the “way of Cain” were described as men who “revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct…by these they are destroyed”. Today’s episode takes a look at what God chose to share about Cain’s life. God’s commentary makes it clear Cain is not an example to be followed, but rather one to be avoided. As we strive to learn from the “great cloud of witnesses”, let’s take lessons to heart about how NOT to follow Yahweh, God the Father.
