God places a high premium on work! It is no coincidence that in the inspired Word of God --- the first Book, the first Chapter, and the first Verse --- when we initially encounter Him, it is a workday, His workday. We get to walk with Elohim through His Work Week! How unfortunate it is that so many professionals live only for the weekend, not appreciating that God is God of Monday through Friday, not only God of the worship day! And after completing His daily increments, the Creator reflected upon His work and "saw that it was good". The week culminates with His seeing that the whole job was "very good". He was gratified through His accomplishments and through the processes thereof. Accomplishment pleased God. Accomplishment gratifies us as well.
