Description

This week's Kingdom Professionals conversation begins with a bit of an interview with Co-Pastor JaShawna Bellamy as we acknowledge "Social Workers Month", about her present journey in this profession. Next, we reflect again upon St. Patrick's identity as a Kingdom man, as differentiated from the frivolity associated with the celebration called "St. Patrick's Day".

In the final emphasis of the conversation, Michael Blue discusses DOING. One's doing is the fruit of his or her BEING. Because we were created in the image and after the likeness of God, and God is a DO-er, DOING is a vital part of our sense of self. God has one two-pronged Work, His Big DOING with which we are called both to collaborate and to emulate: HE MAKES THE WORLD (Genesis 1-2), and then after man falls, HE MAKES THE WORLD BETTER. Even so, every task that we undertake ultimately reflects His Work: we are called – in some distinct way - either to "make a world (system)", or to "make a world (system) better".
