On this trip, Najah got to meet with Mayor Scott Conger, an alumnus of Lane College, a private HBCU a part of the Methodist Church.
Scott Conger is the third member of his family to serve as Mayor of Jackson. He worked as a city councilman in the past, representing District 5 of Midtown Jackson.
Mayor Scott Conger shared that he pledged to give city employees the option of converting their paychecks into Bitcoin.
He also shared his plans to install a digital mining network in a deserted wing of City Hall. His ultimate goal is to make Jackson a Southeastern tech hub.
The people of Jackson, TN were awesome!
