I realize there are some bad mothers out there, and this day evokes anything but happiness for some. But I had a different experience. I was blessed with a Mom who is the equivalent of an angel. I get what author Mitch Albom says in his book For One More Day: "I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know."
A decade ago, I wrote an email to my Mom. It was never intended for anyone's eyes other than hers. But I feel like it's worth sharing on this Mother's Day 2024. Perhaps you'll share similar sentiments of your own mother, and give her due honor and love on this special day.
