Description

Remember the American folktale of The Little Engine That Could? A long line of cars had the daunting challenge of making it up a steep hill, and needed an engine to pull it. A large engine was approached but it said, "I can't. That's too much of a pull for me." Other engines were approached, but they always provided an excuse for why they couldn't. Finally, a little engine was asked, and it said, "I think I can." With determination, it kept repeating "I-think-I can, I-think-I-can..." all the way up and over the hill. It's been a long-time favorite to teach children a can-do optimism and perseverance can make hard things possible.

Today's podcast is about a teacher who wanted to teach the same lesson, but in a creative way. Take a listen!
