Fikaris is an Australian painter, illustrator, comic book creator and street artist who's spent all his professional life in the creative scene, exploring different mediums and establishing himself firmly in them all.
On the streets, Fikaris spans styles. Initially sharing poetry on the walls, he is also known for illustrative naturescapes and, of course, his iconic gas mask characters, which show up in his new NFT work today.
New to the NFT space, Fikaris shares his excitement for the possibilities to, once again, bring all varied creative expressions into a new medium. Like many street artists, his foray has begun with street art work, animated to amplify the emotions of his characters. But his visions go well beyond, from tokenising elements of his publications to minting affirmations.
