This course is focused on all aspects of leadership specifically in the dental setting. We will discuss challenges that will occur and how to overcome them by having a positive mindset! In addition, we focus on how to do this with an influential approach rather than an authoritarian approach.
Objectives:
1. Recognize greater knowledge of a leader's responsibilities.
2. Discuss how to structure empowerment and responsibility when using group decision-making.

Tia S. Meyer is a Registered Dental Hygienist in South Dakota with over 12 years of dental experience. She transitioned her career from retail to dental by obtaining her dental assisting degree at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. As her passion began to grow, so did her desire to further herself in her career.
