On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you believe in your goals? (1 = no belief at all; 10 = you believe in them with every bone in your body).
What's the point of having goals if you don't believe in them? You're better off having no goals at all.

STEP 1: Taking into consideration the 20-30 version of you (Part 1), your Mission and your BHAG (Part 2), 3-Year Vision (last week), write down the ONE thing you can do THIS YEAR to be on track to achieve your 3-Year Vision.
STEP 2: Make your goals S.M.A.R.T.E.R.
STEP 3: Continue 1-by-1 goal-setting until 3 to 7 are identified.
BONUS STEPS that J.R. recommends.
STEP 4: Find someone close to you and have them read your Goals back to you while you have your eyes closed envisioning your Year. After they're done reading them back to you, have them ask you, "If you achieve these goals, will it be your best year ever?"
