Description

Growing up as a military dependent, Councilwoman Kathy Tilque is no stranger to being on the move. With a brave 30+ year career in Chamber of Commerce and associated businesses, Kathy has created community wherever she’s gone and we’re lucky that she’s landed right here in Gilbert, Arizona. Founder of Gilbert Leadership, Positive Paths, the East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance, and liaison for the newly formed Community Engagement Task Force, Kathy is willing to stand up where others aren’t and lead by example. As a self proclaimed former shy kid, Kathy has developed confidence through her experience of leading others and has found her home through community building, mentorship, and advocacy. Listen in as Kathy shares her perspective on community, the importance of civil discourse and being kind, and the need for leaders who are willing to lead from the front and back.
