Description

Coming from a long line of servant leaders, Kelly Geisler founder of Cultivate Goodness, shares a bit about her upbringing as a foster sibling to 125 foster children. A young mother who had a dream of opening a foster home herself, Kelly followed in the footsteps of her parents by opening up her home to children in need, fostering children with special needs since 1994 and is the proud mother of 11 children today. Her experiences helped her develop a deep level of empathy for those with challenges, and she found Cultivate Goodness in 2019 in the hopes of inspiring others to serve. Focused on supporting veterans, homeless families, victims of domestic violence, seniors, underprivileged & foster children, police officers, firefighters, cancer patients and anyone that could use an extra hand - Cultivate Goodness makes giving back easy and accessible for anyone. Starting immediately prior to COVID, the organization is just now getting back into supporting in-person projects but pivoted quickly during the pandemic to create opportunities to give virtually. Sharing her own story of how volunteering and serving others supported her through one of the darkest times in her life, Kelly has been intentionally creating community by offering space for those who want to give back and thriving as a family and community partner through service to others.
