Balanced voice exercises are essential to having a healthy balanced speaking voice. When you warmup your higher voice that is sometimes called a "head voice" you will improve the tone and quality of your lower voice. If you are unable to squeak into your higher pitches you will have a muffled lower voice that will make your voice difficult to be understood by your audiences and listeners. Your voice volume will also improve and you will speak more effortlessly. You need to warmup your voice by accessing both your higher and lower voice and mixing it through, then you will have a balanced speaking voice that will be clear and a pleasure to listen to.
