In this short episode, Charlie takes a moment to celebrate the wins from Broad River's recent awards that it has received. Even though Broad River is a 20-year-old Company, it was recently recognized as a Fast 50 award recipient twice (last Fall by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the fastest 50 growing companies in the 16-county, greater Charlotte region and earlier this month by the state of South Carolina as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the state.
By leveraging its four growth strategies, planning for growth through constant budgeting and forecasting, Broad River has grown by 16% compounded annually over the last 13 years (from 2009 - 2022). A 16% Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) has only been achieved because of its growth-minded Memory Makers who have invested in themselves while also executing the plan consistently over the years.
Charlie explains the Broad River's quest is to grow by 20% compounded annually, both on the top line as well as the bottom line. And, this quest keeps them motivated to continue elevating and striving to scale the mountain year after year. But, it's also good to pause to celebrate the wins along the journey.
