Robert Allen wrote the book Nothing down filed chapter 11.

For the first 200 years of America, you got rich by hard work, you grew your crops, and became wealthy.

then the gold rush hit.  In 1848 James marshal was working for Jim Sutter, was building a windmill, in the river he saw something shiny.

Word got out and the California gold rush hit.

 

               

Then on the sean comes Charls Ponzi

You take money from investors and then give that money to the older investors to make it look like they're getting a return on their investment. So they put in more money into the investments. It is a pyramid scheme that crashes.

 

In the 1920s, His original scheme was based on the legitimate arbitrage of international reply coupons for postage stamps, but he soon began diverting new investors' money to make payments to earlier investors and to himself. Unlike earlier similar schemes, Ponzi's gained considerable press coverage both within the United States and internationally both while it was being perpetrated and after it collapsed – this notoriety eventually led to the type of scheme being named after him.

Quality spending, goto dollar general instead of gas stations. Goto Aldie instead of Krogers.

Do a budget

Don't rush it, no shortcuts. Change your outlook on life.
