Much of Andrea's work focuses on health equity and health policy. She is an award-winning essayist and memorist. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, Essence, O the Opera Magazine, AARP magazine, Next Avenue and many others. 

She is the mother of two adult children and her favorite title is "GoGo" to two sweet grandsons.
