Wayne Carney grew up in a small town in Minnesota where a coach influenced his walk in life. The influence of a coach took Carney into his coaching career for 24 years at Agar and Hamlin. Carney lead those teams to more than 300 wins and coached Hamlin to the 1983 state "B" title.
