In this episode, we are reading a story about using alternative coping methods to overcome anxiety.
Although, this person struggles with depersonalization, derealization, ADHD and anxiety, they are always looking for alternative ways to feel more control over their own body and mind. And while looking for anxiety alternative coping methods, they discovered the "ice bath method" and share their journey so far.
I know that finding grounding takes vulnerability, bravery and a lot of energy, so it is so inspiring to know that they decided to do something helpful for themselves by being proactive when it is hard to be.
This week I'm joined by the amazing Dr. Traci Potterf, a PhD and functional medicine anxiety detective, to chat and share our thoughts, show our support and understanding to this person. Dr. Traci also talks about the body's ability to heal.
