Description

Chris Panfil is a solo performer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist bluegrass musician. His musical palette includes vocals, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, and various guitar styles. His passion is writing, singing, and playing his original Americana-influenced songs, but he also enjoys performing Pop/Rock and Country "chestnuts."

The Panfil Brothers
Chris and his brother, Mark Panfil, were inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2016 as the Panfil Brothers.

They continue to perform together as the Panfil Brothers, moving seamlessly between various styles, including bluegrass, folk, country, Irish, and acoustic jazz. The duo has released three CDs under this name.

Creek Bend
Chris is a long-time member of the award-winning bluegrass band, Creek Bend, with whom he has recorded six projects.

• He first joined Creek Bend in 1985 on mandolin.
• He rejoined the group in 1994, again on mandolin.
• He later switched to guitar around 2005.

Nashville Career
A former studio musician from Nashville, Chris spent over ten years as a multi-instrumentalist in Florida and Nashville. While in Nashville, he was an in-demand musician, playing with touring acts, working as a session player, and holding a steady gig at the Stagecoach.
