Maria Kang is a wife, mother, author, speaker, business owner, nonprofit founder, fitness philanthropist, and social entrepreneur. She is widely known as "Fit Mom" whose No Excuse campaign to get people active, has reached millions of people around the world.
She presently lives in Sacramento, California, posting online for Extra Popular in 2005 and has had a blog since then. She had a campaign around 2013 that went viral which developed her nonprofit project, "No Excuse Mom". It was originally called "Fitness Without Borders'' in 2007. The campaign promotes building communities throughout the world where mothers workout for free parts with a motto, "Health starts at home".
I have been following Maria for the last 10 years because she's a mom of three as well as a nonprofit founder of No Excuse Mom, who continuously cultivates a non-judgemental community.
