Rest, what’s that??? For too many of us this question hits close to home. As busy moms and successful business owners, entrepreneurs, and simply amazing women, we often forget that rest is an important thing to add to our “to-do” list! Can you relate?
In this episode, Sara, Kelly and Lisa dive into the value and purpose of REST. When we physically allow our bodies to rest, to allow our body to heal and regenerate. Rest is important for our bodies, but it also plays a necessary role in our growth and evolution into our next best version of ourselves. Rest allows us the opportunity to reflect back on our goals, our accomplishments, and our failures. To pause to celebrate our wins and re-evaluate and refocus our goals and next steps. Rest allows our minds to quiet the constant chatter that is so prevalent in our days, to still our bodies, calm our breathing, slow our thinking, which puts us in a place of “receiving.” It is in those times of rest that we get our best inspired ideas, divine downloads, and “intuitive hits.”
