Description

Welcome once again to The Million Dollar Relationships podcasts. In this episode, our host Kevin Thompson invites Scott Anderson, a serial entrepreneur and executive coach who specializes in helping people recover from burnout. Scott turned around a family group of construction equipment and industrial engine companies, scaling and selling them at a premium. He then built 3 for-profit businesses and established a not-for-profit, AtEaseUSA.org, which develops PTSD treatment technology. Scott is well-trained in coaching and therapy, being certified by the International Coaching Federation and holding a summa cum laude Master's degree from the University of Nebraska School of Clinical Counseling.

Scott joins Kevin to discuss the challenges of entrepreneurship and how it can lead to burnout and its symptoms. Scott shares his personal experience with burnout and how the pandemic has made it an even bigger issue for entrepreneurs. They examine the entrepreneurial journey as problem solving, Mike Tyson's quote about plans, and how Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) may be linked to burnout. Scott also shares a story about the people that changed the course of his life and business and leaders in post-traumatic stress disorder research
