Toni and Emily talk with Lindsay again is all about cat enrichment. They continue to discuss cats with cat expert; Lindsay from a previous episode. If you don't remember from last week, Lindsay is the resident cat expert with tons of experience at home with her cat colony and from working at a veterinary clinic. The previous episode with Lindsay was focused on managing multiple cat diets, maximizing moisture content, and transiting a picky cat to a new food. This episode is going to focus on enrichment for cats. Cats are hunters and intelligent creatures often mistaken for being independent and sometimes lazy. However, they need just as much mental stimulation, if not more,than dogs. We will discuss tips and tricks to keep your cat active and happy!

• Emily talks about her cat, and how he tends to play with her cat. She asks Lindsay if this is the equivalent of enrichment for her cat, because they acknowledge that cat's are very intelligent creatures that need mental stimulation just as much as dogs do. Cat's are hunters and can benefit from looking for their food around the house, even if it is a kibble that is moved to a new location.
• Toni and Emily ask Lindsay all about what toys shes uses, and what toys she does not recommend to people. There are many toys that can be dangerous or lack appropriate interaction with cats. Lindsay also talks about how enrichment can shape appropriate behaviors and prevent cats from being destructive and from exhibiting unwanted behaviors.
